How it works

Onpoint is a platform that allows users to earn extra rewards everytime you shop via our app, website or browser extension. You can either earn a fixed number of Onpoints per transaction or as a percentage of your spend. These Onpoints are earned irrespective of the form of payment used and over and above their credit card rewards allowing you to double dip to the best extent possible.

Each Onpoint is worth 1 INR on our redemption platform and can be redeemed for gift vouchers or converted to travel loyalty programs once your Onpoints are confirmed.



Onpoints are an interoperable rewards currency and each Onpoint is worth 1 INR when used for redemption across methods across our platform. These Onpoints are earned on every successful transaction made through Onpoint and are earned in addition to your credit card rewards or the brand's loyalty program.

As a user, you don't pay anything extra when you shop via Onpoint and earn double the rewards on the same transaction. 

Absolutely not, using Onpoint is completely free and anyone can sign-up using an email and a phone number.

Earning Onpoints

These are a few things that you can be mindful of to ensure that your Onpoints track properly.

1. Make sure you are logged into your On-Points.com account.

2.Make sure you AdBlock is disabled as it is known to interfere with tracking

3. Click through the brand's website via the Onpoint link

4. Make sure your cart is empty and complete the transaction in the new browser window that will open up

5. Complete the transaction and wait for the Onpoints to post to your account

The pending Onpoint tracked amounts are calculated by On-Points.com on a best effort basis and can change upon final confirmation from the brand. This is because when a transaction is tracked, most stores do not provide us all the information required to accurately track Onpoints.  On confirmation, the final confirmed Onpoints can be lower or higher, depending on various factors mentioned above. Therefore we recommend waiting for the Onpoints to get confirmed to see the final amount in your Onpoint balance.
Yes, there may be brands and offers on which there are no Onpoints applicable. Additionally, if you don't follow the steps to earn Onpoints correctly and if the brand does not allow a "Claim Missing Onpoints", you will not be able to earn Onpoints on those transactions.
Pending Onpoints mean that money is on the way as your transaction has been tracked but is pending confirmation from the brand. As your purchase is still awaiting merchant confirmation, subject to no returns or cancellation and other terms, we cannot allow you to withdraw this amount and label it as "Pending". In 4-8 weeks, this amount should get updated to confirmed once the merchant approves the purchase.
Confirmed Onpoints are the Onpoints that you have earned and they have been approved by the merchant. These are the Onpoints available to you for redemption and you can choose to redeem it any of the available redemption options on the Onpoint app or website.
If your Onpoints are declined or canceled by the brand in the off chance that your purchase is not confirmed, the amount for that transaction will be deducted from your Onpoint pending balance. The brand not Onpoint has sole discretion in determining the validity of a transaction. If you believe the Onpoints were incorrectly cancelled, you can file a claim for missing Onpoints and we shall look into the same and get back with a response.

Refer & Earn

You can earn a bonus amount for each friend that signs up using your referral code and if it fulfils the requirements related to the referral. There are no caps on the number of friends that you can refer, so you can potentially earn an unlimited amount of Onpoints for referring friends. To view the details for your referrals, please login to your On-Points.com account and visit the 'Refer and Earn' section under your profile.

To refer friends and family, please login to your On-Points.com account and visit the 'Refer and Earn' section under your profile. There are multiple ways to invite people via your unique referral link:

1. Share your Referral code with friends and ask them to enter it during signup

2. Invite friends via social channels/email available on the On-Points.com Referral page

3. Earn your referral bonus after your your friend makes a successful transaction

Tracking issues

If your Onpoints are not tracked, checking the following can help:

1. Wait for a minimum of 48 hours since you made the purchase.

2. You completed the purchase in the same session after clicking out of On-Points.com

3. You did not use any other widget or comparison site after getting redirected from On-Points.com.

If you have met all of the above conditions, please  file a Missing Onpoints Claim for the transaction which was Not Tracked. Note: Merchants accept claims for Onpoints not tracked cases only till 7th of the next month from the purchase date. For eg. you made a purchase on 24th Nov, you can file a Not Tracked claim till 7th Dec OR you made a purchase on 4th Nov, you can file a Not Tracked claim till 7 Dec.

It can sometimes take up to 3 days for a brand to track a transaction. Hence Onpoint and brands do not accept any missing tickets before the end of this period.
Our sophisticated system tracks every time you click out from our website to any of our partner retailers. If you do not see a retailer in the exit click dropdown then you have not visited the retailer via our website. Perhaps you forgot to sign in when you visited a retailer, in which case again the visit will not show in your exit click list OR the retailer does not allow Missing Onpoints claim.This is a policy enforced by brands and Onpoint has no discretion in this regard.

OnPoints payment

Onpoints are worth 1 INR when used for redemption on our platform. Currently we have 2 redemption options:

1. Gift Vouchers

2. Loyalty Program Conversions

 Onpoints will expire 1 year from they are issued. 

To withdraw your Onpoint balance, log in to your account and visit the Redeem Onpoints section of your profile. Select the method of withdrawal and enter the amount and hit Submit. For some methods, minimum withdrawal limits apply.
